Migrating from Hero to Desire

Hi. I think I'm going to get a Desire (unless someone tells me there's a better handset about to be released in the next couple of months).

Most of the apps I can just backup and reinstall, but can someone tell me how easy it is to backup and restore SMS messages?

Also it would be useful to backup bookmarks, is that possible?

Someone here can help you with bookmarks I'm sure. I used SMS Backup and Restore to back up SMS messages to my SD card, copied the XML to my Desire and ran the software on that to restore. Be aware that you'll lose your picture messages in this process.

I dont need old SMS =) My girlfriend´s always hate that :huh:

I change from Hero to Desire,too. I get it tomorrow (when root is aviable :P) because i was at work when my package arrived today :blink:

I updated all my apps and build a batch file to install them :o Im hardly waiting for tomorrow :D

I think there will be no better phone in the next couple of months i think the Desire will make you and me happy a long long time =) just because Paul devlope for it =)
