Recently my Pulse stopped charging over USB as detailed in this thread:

http://android.modaco.com/content/t-mobile...longer-charges/

There are no T-Mobile shops in my country so I need to send them the phone. In order to send the phone I need a T-Mobile returns bag. However you can only get one of these if you have a T-Mobile account. The guy I bought the Pulse from has agreed to provide me with the order details but says he doesn't have time to deal with them on my behalf. I don't know anyone else who has a T-Mobile account. Therefore I throw myself upon the mercy of the good people at Modaco. If someone were willing to order a returns bag to my name and address I would be very grateful and could reward with a signed photo of myself! Or I could pay for a year of Modaco ad free. Or an app on Android market if I can work out how to do that without a working android phone.

PM me if you are willing to lend a helping hand and I will tell you the address for the return bag. We can also discuss your reward but I warn you I don't do the Full Monty.

that don't make sense to me...

you want one of us to send you the returns bag? then your going to send you phone to the t-mobile repair centre in that bag (which they probably wont accept the delivery charges for because it won't be coming from the UK)

then how are you going to receive the phone back? because they will send it to the person who set the account/returns process up for you...

In my opinion...

2 ways

Number One:

Do a similar thing to what your asking but instead..... send your phone to the UK to a forum member and give them like 5 to 10 pounds (which will pay them to send it back to you once its repaired) That person will set the returns process up with t-mobile for you send the phone off in the returns bag and when it comes back within usually 28 days they will send it back to you repaired....

Number Two:

Take your phone to a local phone repair shop and get them to solder a new micro usb port to it here a shop would charge me 10-20 pounds

preetkk I don't think you read the whole post. In the subtitle of the post I said that it should be a UK T-Mobile customer. In the body of the post I said the returns bag should be for my address, so T-Mobile will send it to me.

I already tried the local repair shop. They quoted £50 and couldn't promise a full fix of the USB port since they are machine made and it is very difficult to repair those. He said that they could probably get charging working but not data transfer. That didn't sound like a good deal for the price so I am trying this option.

By my country I mean Northern Ireland. There are no T-Mobile shops here.

I assume you didn't get the T-Mobile sim with the phone when you bought it? because that's all you need to get a T Mobile account, you don't need a contract just a number.

Sign up here if you did: https://www.t-mobile.co.uk/service/your-account/signup/

If you didn't then maybe just send for a free sim, thus becoming a T-Mobile customer even if you never use it.

Good suggestions onawell. Someone has already offered to send me a bag. If that falls through I will try your way.

Morons. The form asks for your postcode and house number so it can find your address. But it won't find my address. Pitiful.

You didn't tried to write a mail to T-Com did you?

Yes I've sent them an email now but that email address is supposed to be for 3+ SIMS, so I will have to wait and see if they honour my request for just 1.
