My u8220 touchscreen is not functioning after root

Hi,

I root my u8220 without backup today

after i root it, i realized that my touchscreen do not give any response anymore

i try to reset my phone but problem still not solved...

can any one help me is this case??

or you can give me the original boot.img ??

(my original rom is PCCW(HK) )

I hope this works for you i don't know its its stock i cant remember if my phone was stock when i backed it up :P . Good luck. My screen is also not working after charging all night, i woke next morning to find its no longer as function (the bottom half) :huh:

Is that boot.img for the original PCCW(HK) rom??

oh,it does not work

i try to install the boot.img into my u8220 through fastboot

but it said'invalid boot image'

anyway, thanks for your help

Maybe only the download was corrupted?

Make sure you use the right commands:

sudo ./fastboot-linux flash boot /-path-/boot.img
or
fastboot-windows flash boot X:\-path-\boot.img[/code]
