Is there any way to test the ROM before installing it in our omnia

Hello

for all developers and users i was wondering is there any program or any way to test the ROM before installing it on my OMNIA and if there isn't any way to do that then we have to get a new idea to make it easy for cookers and special for Beginner Cookers is there anyone can make an ((exluator*or Run Tool)) or something like this word i don't know what the correct word in English sorry but i think you understood what i mean , or program to make this possible on the pc be4 installing it on our omnia To avoid the damage in THE OMNIA

Friend... TEST the damn rom, it wouldn't bite you. If you don't like it, port another one. Is not so difficult or taking too much time.

Dear Sameh,

1. please do not offend any of the other friends on the forum. If you are not happy with what they say just ignore it. You have no right to be offensive -- you can simply ignore, or state your position in a positive and gentle way.

2. please stop using that HUGE font. in Forums, using this font is considered shouting, I imagine you do not intend to shout all the time.

3. you are probably using a translation software from your language to English. I recommend you find a friend who can help you. while we understand what you are asking for, the translation software gives your phrase a double meaning that sounds like you are expecting us to work for you. I imagine you are asking to learn, and not copy our work, so if you improve the way you ask for info, you will get less sarcastic remarks

4. you should probably re-think what you said to Andrew, even if you did not like his comments. He was brave enough to state what many of us think. you should see this as a learning experience, how to ask better questions. - a quick "I am sorry" is all you need to send him

5. I am guessing you are trying to cook your own rom, and want to test it without bricking your phone. I do not know of such an application. I do not think it exists. but if this is what you need -- just write it shortly, and people will stop sending you to youtube to see other roms.

Obviously! Back to the question- I agree with you sameh_elhakim, it would be great to have an emulator that you could run imitating your device so that if you make a ROM yourself you could test it on your PC instead of running the risk of bricking your phone but unfortunately there is non at the moment and I'm not sure its possible.

This is the big risk that chefs take when creating these ROM's for us and is the reason we should respect the things that are created for us.

i know microsoft visual studio 2008 has a windows mobile emulator to test your programs on, but i don't think you can flash a ROM to it, and there isn't a wqvga version.
