email attachments wont download

hi, my yahoo pop 3 mail attachments wont download via the default mail app, the icon has an ! and rports 0k in size, if i click the icon it says the attachment is missing would you like to download it, i click yes and i get the timer go round for a few seconds then stops and goes back to the ! if i click the attachement again its back to square 1 it says the attachment is missing :huh:. anyone know how to fix this ??
