Digital Clock Widget v1.8 by Maize - New question on second page :)

I know the discussion of getting paid apps for free isn't allowed here, but I'm pretty sure this is a free app, so I was wondering if someone had the APK they could upload, please? It's not on the market anymore, and I've been trying to find an APK online all night long. The best I got was a .rar file full of files, which I tried renaming to .apk but that didn't work. :/ I'm pretty sure v1.8 is the latest one.

Sorry, I should have mentioned.. even after scanning the bar code, it won't find the app on the store. I don't know why. So this is why I need the APK, please. :huh:

Oh thanks. I actually had already downloaded the .rar from there, but I just figured out how to change it to a .apk and it works now. :huh:

But apparently v1.8 cannot be installed on my phone. :P guess I'll try an older version.

And an older version didn't work either... help? :blink:

All I know is that I installed that quickboot thing, the recovery image, super user permission thingy.

Ok, I think that's why it's not working.

If you really want to use the clock, you would have to install a new ROM, the vanilla style one :P

Oh.. I have to? I never really liked the 'look' of the vanilla style one.. with the whole white notification bar at the top. :blink:

(regardless, the clock won't work if you are on the pulse style rom, looks like you're solving the wrong problem :P)

Did you try using winrar or 7zip to extract the rar you downloaded? It's a rar archive (similar to a .zip)

thought id try this out since the weather widget stoped working, it installed ok and is on my home screen but when I click on the icon in the drawer to edit the clock I get FC, If I click on the widget it does nothing :huh: ,, works on my G1 though.

Have you made sure that under /Settings/Applications/ on the phone you have ticked Unknown sources?
