Guest roisagi Posted April 29, 2010 Report Posted April 29, 2010 i have enables samsung messagin app to view e-mail accounts. after downloading e-mail - i can see the email - but cannot read them. clicking on an e-mail message - it does not open. any advice? thanks

Its not capable of that. Thats why even of you enable it to show all your email accounts using the registry hack, it cannot display their contents. Omnia II's messaging app can do so, and hopefully future updates for B7610 may enable this functionality.For now, the messaging app can only be used for SMS and MMS.

[/quo i meant, that in the past, when clicking on an email, the samsung messaging app - after a mail is clicked, opened the default WM messaging app - and showed the content of the email. now, suddenly - clicking on an email does nothing - any ideas? any registry hacks?

I'm facing the same :) I *think* the culprit might be somewhere in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Sofware\Microsoft\Inbox\MsgTypes\IPM\Note probably with the key "DLL" - can anyone *not* having this problem post their value for this key? Thanks :) EDIT: found it myself: change the value for HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Sofware\Microsoft\Inbox\MsgTypes\IPM\Note\DLL to "htmlnote.dll" & you can again view, create, reply, fwd etc emails Edited June 8, 2010 by santoo
