Video of rooting the HTC Desire?

I would just like to request a video of "How to root the HTC Desire". In my opinion it is a lot easier and better to watch a video to learn it, then reading a text :huh:

I second this request.

I think Paul has mentioned he would do one on the rooting post.

I am finding more and more reasons to root so am considering it. Apart from apps2SD (which I was hoping would come with Droid 2.2) I have just read that the only way to stop the ludicrously loud startup noise is by getting rid of the mp3 file responsible, which can only be done on a rooted phone :-/

What is the exact procedure for backing up current settings/apps etc, rooting and then setting up apps2ds? Vid would be awesome.
