Guest EdgeMMG Posted April 29, 2010 Report Posted April 29, 2010 Hello all. New here so my apologies if I am unclear. A few months ago my Samsung Omnia began to have a mouse pointer display, controlled by my scroll pad thing. About a month ago, it went away. Today it came back. I am not doing anything that I know of to trigger it and am beginning to believe that it stays around just long enough for me to get accustomed to using it and then it disappears long enough for me to get accustomed to not using it. Any ideas?

Any ideas? Are you using a custom ROM or the stock ROM? In the stock ROM and most custom ROMs, you can turn the mouse on and off. Start Menu -> Settings -> System -> Optical Mouse. Some custom ROMs have a program called "FingerMouse" that turns the mouse on and off without having to go into the settings.
Guest peperonikiller Posted April 29, 2010 Report Posted April 29, 2010 Also in some custom roms fingermouse is defined on a hardware key.. be it the mainmenu button on the top right or your camera button, usually not.. but if your running an old rom it could be possible
