Guest Rolandx Posted May 1, 2010 Report Posted May 1, 2010 (edited) Why is that? only 'top free' and 'just in'. any way to add the 3rd filter? rooted/marketenabler on too. Cheers Edited May 1, 2010 by Rolandx
Guest Rolandx Posted May 1, 2010 Report Posted May 1, 2010 Why is that? only 'top free' and 'just in'. any way to add the 3rd filter? rooted/marketenabler on too. Cheers Ok, got it fixed. Ill leave it here, in case some other will face the problem. I created a new & fresh gmail account, reset phone to factory settings, and registered the phone/market with that one->market enabler and voila, "top paid" decided to pop.
Guest RODNiC Posted May 1, 2010 Report Posted May 1, 2010 Noticed that too.. but really never got around to fixing it.. mmm.. that would mean that people like me that have been using Android for some time and have already paid for Apps, would lose all the Apps right? (apart to having to effectively change my default e-mail address.. )

Does anyone have a better solution then abandoning your g-mail account and paid apps? Having just rooted I have also noticed that the market is acting slow again as it was for the first couple of days I had my desire. Are the 2 things possibly related.
Guest HearThatVoiceAgain Posted May 1, 2010 Report Posted May 1, 2010 (edited) It's OK it has just shown up. I guess there is some kind of lag while the market realises that you should have Paid Apps and that it should format the market accordingly. The market as a whole is still lagging though. Guest dreamdealer Posted May 1, 2010 Report Posted May 1, 2010 i had this problem when i first got my desire.. 2 days later it corrected it self, still to this day i don't know why, maybe something to do with the market syncing with the phone or something, i then had the same problem when i rooted my desire, 1 day later it corrected it self. so just hang in there and it will sort its self out.

Ah well, a few hours to late, already did it, since my main mail account is on yahoo, the one I had I didnt care at all about it, so it was no fuss making a new one(better username as well anyway ) PS: Being a total noob that I am, this being my first android phone, when I want to buy an app the google checkout pops and tells me to insert all the credit card and stuff info ... that happens everytime, or just the first time? (I do have a google checkout accout tho, cant it just link it with my gmail one?)
Guest ZiCoN Posted May 1, 2010 Report Posted May 1, 2010 I just ran Market Enabler, then I had it... Without it I also only have the free apps'n'games
Guest spvdk Posted May 2, 2010 Report Posted May 2, 2010 (edited) Market Enabler only worked for me until the first reboot. Searched for a solution and found Market Access. It has been working great for me so far. http://amip.tools-for.net/android/MarketAccess Edited May 2, 2010 by spvdk
Guest kewell79 Posted May 2, 2010 Report Posted May 2, 2010 i had no paid app filter.....but after 2-3 days it suddenly showed up maybe it was because of a reboot i did.......
Guest RODNiC Posted May 2, 2010 Report Posted May 2, 2010 Top Paid Apps came up here too... Guess shows that it's not always something from 'our' Desire.. but that indeed we're still a lot under Google's control..
