bad 3g reception after radio upgrade

I've rooted the desire using Paul's first root method (awesome work!) and also updated the radio to the asian versin he provided, but since then I'm getting a lot of timeouts in the market and other apps relying on 3g (not sure about gsm, but i can call myself :huh:). Where can i get the old european stock radio so i can test out it's related with the radio update or something else?

Installed all extra updates in one go, so I made an ext2 partition and installed a2sd right after I've updated the radio without rebooting the device.

@Kerogi: From what I know a radio update gives you a better reception.

@Arielext: I also had that sometimes. it says the server doesn't answer but I doubt it is a 3G problem, I think it's a problem of the program itself because if I do have 3G while browsing it's great and really fast. Maybe there is like a connection internet app so you can measure your 3G usage and stability.
