Guest Joshuah Posted May 1, 2010 Report Posted May 1, 2010 Hi all, Just wondering is there a known issue with this phone that during calls the other person can't really hear you? there is alot of what appears to be feedback (similar if you put the phone next to a radio whilst on a call and hear the buzzing noise?) if so, what is the fix? Thanks so much!!
Guest maddin91 Posted May 1, 2010 Report Posted May 1, 2010 I have never been affected by Issues like that. And I never heard of it There are some liquids having problems with the speaker volumen just right after making or reciving a call. It seems to be a not reproducaeble bug, but there is a workaround: Hit the Volume up key a few times and everything works well
Guest MrVanes Posted May 1, 2010 Report Posted May 1, 2010 I seems like some Liquids suffer from bad pickup/mic production errors. I also had problems of people receiving very bad signal from me. I eventually had my phone exchanged by the retailer (expansys) and everything is fine now. It seems more people have similar problems, all in different degrees. The problem can not be fixed in software, believe me, I tried (hard)! Best thing is to demand an exchange from your retailer because of defective hardware. They will probably offer you repair at first. Try to avoid that and aim at immediate exchange.
Guest Mr.r9 Posted May 1, 2010 Report Posted May 1, 2010 Hi all, Just wondering is there a known issue with this phone that during calls the other person can't really hear you? there is alot of what appears to be feedback (similar if you put the phone next to a radio whilst on a call and hear the buzzing noise?) if so, what is the fix? Thanks so much!! I had this problem with the 1.6 Android Rom. Me & Mr.Vanens had a lengthy thread about this too! Anyway, when I moved to the 2.1 Rom, this problem went away. I specifically asked people if they noticed a difference & all of them said yes it is better. Mr. Vanes, I only moved to 2.1 to solve this problem & I never exchanged my Liquid. I don't know if this is a software or a hardware problem anymore
Guest Joshuah Posted May 2, 2010 Report Posted May 2, 2010 yes this is true when upgrading to 2.1 it went better.. but not completely away...
