P Thanks Paul, I used the USB Mount in the recovery :P Paul is there any way of disabling the proximity sensor? (Correct me if i'm wrong) i think the adb service on the device is damaged. Maybe if we can complete the task29, and start over with a fresh rom it'll help. P Paul, I remember pressing that by mistake instead of rebooting. After that, it stopped. Also, Don't know if it's coincidence but my device seems to be draining the battery after it happened. I went to sleep at 5:00 with 96% and woke up at 12:00 with 48%. An engineering SPL could actually save our phones, but the warranty will for sure be over.. Only reason I haven't returned mine yet, is I'm kinda just as curious as I am annoyed.. Anyone else experienced this - and have a solution? Another question - is it possible still to use Fastboot to flash a stock ROM. And can I then send in my phone to get it repaired by the authorized repair-shop? Anyone has an opinion on this previous post. 1: The Market Issue 2: Do you think flashing Stock ROM and sending to HTC will solve the problem? I don't believe we have a ETTR for this, unfortunately but I believe there are a lot of people (including people without the issue, thanks to them btw) trying to find out a way to fix that. And I'm pretty sure it will be found. Also, do we know what the "USB mount" function actually does on the device/system? If I understood correctly, you want to check if the Desire is on USB Host mode so if this is the case, I would be able to see the hard disk connected.
