Guest Biliskner
I think we just need to find a way to make this rtask function work. All the functions are allready implemented in the hboot but somehow the phone is crashing when trying to do them now. I need to remove the battery to make phone work again after trying an implemented rtask command. Even a batterytest command crashes the phone. Dont think that command is locked. what if you flash TestRUU - will fastboot commands work then?

Guest potter97
Hello all, This will be no help but ........ How did this actually happen the lose of USB, i have flashed all the diffrent veriations of all the rooting guides, mostly in Ubuntu and windows, And my USB has not stopped working. Im only asking as im wondering whats the diffrence from my system to yours? If that may be related at all ?? My sys's 1). Desktop - WIN 7 Ultimate, Quad core Q6600. 4GB ram, Gigabyte G31M-ES2L mobo < Note only used back USB hub, not front ones.. Worked everytime. did have a few errors, but they were due to not leaving win long enough to pick up my device. 2). Netbook - Mini 10v - Win 7, Ubuntu netbook remix 10.04, 2GB ram, used all three USB ports on flashing all aok. I have used ALL the apps2sd variants ALL with success, But im still trying to understand hows its messing up some of your guys flashing processes?? If i can help you guys in anyway let me know, i will help anyway i can. :) EDIT: But i only ever flashed the stock rom with all, no custom roms at all ..... Several of us actually believe it could have been caused by us turning on the mass storage in the amon ra recovery... As far as I know, all of us with this issue have at one point or another turned it on. My thought is though... If this could switch something off in the SPL, would it be possible to look at the coding for that part of the recovery.. and that way find out what happend? Guest Paul
I have pursued this with Koush... he has sent me the link to the code for that part of recovery and i'm investigating. P
Guest Paul
And here it is - http://github.com/koush/android_bootable_r...commands.c#L367. I would be interested to see what happened if someone with a broken phone installed ConnectBot or a similar terminal application and input 'echo /dev/block/mmcblk0 > /sys/devices/platform/usb_mass_storage/lun0/file'.
