Guest nollie Posted May 1, 2010 Report Posted May 1, 2010 A while ago I formatted my 16GB SD Card with a 10GB partition for testing Andromnia and the rest for my files. Now I want to use the entire 16GB as a FAT32 single partition for my files and can't for the life of me remember or work out how to do it! In Windows I have tried right clicking the 5GB partition (the other does not show up) and formatting, though I can only select a 5GB option. In Disk management the 10GB unallocated shows by the 5GB partition but I can't do anything with it. I can't extend the 5GB or create a partition on either side. In Ubuntu the SD card is shown - 15.9GB which I cannot mount, I am given an error when I try to, along with a 5GB partition which I can mount and open. In GParted the SD card does not even show up. In terminal 'sudo mount' the SD card is shown but I have no idea what command I can give it to make the entire SD card Fat32. Any help would be FANTASTIC.

Guest nollie Posted May 2, 2010 Report Posted May 2, 2010 Thanks for the help! After a long while last night I finally managed to get everything working using 'DriveRestore Professional. Basic settings didn't help out, but by fiddling around in the 'Drive Editor' mode I changed all the partitions to a value of '0' and created a single partition in Windows' Disk management. Problem Solved.
