New wm 6.1 DXIF1 ROM by t2008. Vie13. DXIF1 phone

Superb radio (DXIF1)! I'm very pleased, after few days of testing. Very good; better than XBIC1 in signal, better than PUJA1 in battery life. I'm not changing it, till the rusians release a new one, even better.

For those who are interested

Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shell\Rai\:MSCONTACTS

Change "String 1" value from :SECCONTACT to MSPOUTLOOK contacts

Then just restart

My good friend, obviously there are cons & pros with 6.1s & 6.5s. It's wide known, 6.1s having the less problems and running faster... exactly because you CAN'T use many useful features of 6.5s!

So, it's up to you. Do you like super-fast roms without problems? Stay on "oldies" (6.1s). Do you like new nice features, like fingerfriendy sense? There's only one option: 6.5s.

My friend I have tried almost all the good 6.5 roms and it is a nightmare when it comes to type letter A on the keyboard. I don’t write much SMS but when I have to I can never get letter A the first try I keep getting letter S instead and it is very annoying

I have tried different keyboards like swipe, spb, Samsung and it is the same, they don’t work properly

In wm 6.1 Samsung keyboard works flawlessly when typing letter A

I don’t bother about the graphics because I use SPB which is good enough for me

If you're using SPB Shell (I don't, I'm a M2D fan), you don't need any 6.5 roms.

Btw, I never had that input experiance you writting, especially with SPB keyboard - my top favorite.

I've tested M2Dv2 with Ryrzy's 6.1 roms; was working like a charm, as far as I can remember.

Btw, never asked the users or the author of this topic, how old is this t2008's rom? What's the release's date?

sorry,seems i miss u'r point.. :rolleyes:

ok.. here's the simple method to have both phone and pda part:

1.setup/install DXIF1 phone part (get it at page 1 / 1st post)

2. flash Pdhee's rom (according to chef's rom description, most of his builds are using DXIF1 pda part )

so u will have both pda/phone DXIF1 synchronized :D :(

Andrew by any chance do you have a working version of M2d v2 cab?

it would be great if you could provide me with a link.

Unfortunately i couldn't get others working cause i couldn't add contacts or add programs to the specific tabs.
