Guest Posted May 2, 2010 Report Posted May 2, 2010 I noticed with the lightspeed kernel that it only supports 1.5 ROMs. I just wondered what the differences were between the 1.5 and 2.1 releases of Android. Is the kernel config readily available for 2.1?
Guest Soaa- Posted May 2, 2010 Report Posted May 2, 2010 Android 2.1 normally requires a .29 kernel, or at the very least, an ugly patched .27 kernel. It's not just a kernel config. Drivers have to be rewritten and such.
