Swype Screen size

Hi i get this error when installing the full swype app -

The swype package you installed does not match the screen size of the device. Screen size: 320*480

But then when i unpack the file on the SwypeScreen txt file the dimensions are:

NumberKeyboardNameLS = Numbers-LS

EditKeyboardNameLS = Edit-LS

MainKeyboardNameLS = Qwerty-LS

ScreenHeightLS = 240

ScreenWidthLS = 854

ScreenDimensionLS = _WVGA854

NumberKeyboardNamePT = Numbers-PT

EditKeyboardNamePT = Edit-PT

MainKeyboardNamePT = Qwerty-PT

ScreenHeightPT = 320

ScreenWidthPT = 480

ScreenDimensionPT = _VGA

Any ideas ??

Isn't swype still in beta? Perhaps you got an unofficial copy with issues :huh:

I never had to open any config files using my beta swype.

And i have tried with the beta aswell and still comes up with the same thing :/

Are you using a custom rom?

Swype doesn't work on the stock rom and people have reported problems using the tmobile custom rom. It works fine on vanilla though

Im using modaco custom rom 1.7
