Well seen as the CyanogenMod-5 for Desire online kitchen can replace the boot splash with the Nexus one, I would say so

i downloaded root explorer and found the boot image i wanted, then copied and pasted it to data/local, this should work for you also.

You should be able to change the splash screen by typing some code into fastboot. However this would require an unlocked bootloader which HTC haven't yet released. :huh: (But they did for the Hero so I imagine it will come eventually)

Well i finally finished it.

in the gif animation i couldn't add the HTC part because my gif editor keeps crashing.
