Guest thephreak Posted May 4, 2010 Report Posted May 4, 2010 this is the seller of the first link check his feedback http://myworld.ebay.com.au/beach0916/

Guest mogabola Posted May 4, 2010 Report Posted May 4, 2010 2 saying fake is enough for me not to buy....on the first link i would wait for more feedbacks cause he only sold 2 sd cards, all the other feedbacks are of bracelets, there are many wais of getting easy positive feedbacks to trick people. I wouldn't buy, but thats me....

Guest mogabola Posted May 4, 2010 Report Posted May 4, 2010 paypal only coveres you if by the time you get (or not get) the item he has money on his account, and from china it takes ages to recieve parcels, so he has enough time to get all the money out... I had the same problem with a seller from HK... As i said i wouldn't buy... But you can do what you want...
Guest chingy1788 Posted May 4, 2010 Report Posted May 4, 2010 probably really dodgy probably wont work correctly, and corrupt data probably extremely slow probably 1GB sd card marked as 32GB (makes windows detect 32GB) probably 32Gb (4GB)
Guest natostanco Posted May 4, 2010 Report Posted May 4, 2010 if the product is broken paypal would work as well, i'll buy one.

Good question! 21:17:18 Mick M. If you pay using PayPal you will be covered by Buyer Protection program. 21:17:28 our_little_bella how long after the purchase am i covered until 21:17:36 our_little_bella because someone was telling me they had troubles in the past with it 21:17:46 Mick M. If you didn't received the item after the expected date, you can file a case within 45 days the listing has ended. 21:17:47 our_little_bella as they did a purchase and by time it arrived, paypal didnot give any support 21:17:51 our_little_bella as it took over a month to arrive 21:18:00 our_little_bella see.. that is a problem 45 days 21:18:09 our_little_bella if it takes 15-20 days to ship 21:18:16 our_little_bella and then 15-25 days to arrive 21:18:18 our_little_bella its pushing the 45 days 21:18:53 Mick M. If you feel that the item will arrived over a month, it would be better to file a case within 45 days and close the case once you received the item just to make sure you filed the case within the correct time frame.
Guest ©_vito_© Posted May 4, 2010 Report Posted May 4, 2010 Yesterday (2010 05 03) I searched Ebay for 16 Gigs card - almost every seller from China is filled with negative feedbacks about these faked 16 GB microCD cards - it appears to be only 2 GB or even 256 MB...
Guest mrwrong Posted May 4, 2010 Report Posted May 4, 2010 Hey people, is that too obvious? 30 bucks for a 32 GB card? It's either fake or broken. It's like 20 dollars for a Gucci bag, do you even have to ask is it fake?
Guest mogabola Posted May 4, 2010 Report Posted May 4, 2010 I just chat with ebay and asked them this scenario and asked what to do.. Mick M. Good question! 21:17:18 Mick M. If you feel that the item will arrived over a month, it would be better to file a case within 45 days and close the case once you received the item just to make sure you filed the case within the correct time frame. The other problem is they cover you only with the funds on the actual paypal account, and they can access the money and withdraw even before they have shipped, even if you tell paypal after the minimum 10 days waiting time, it leaves them enough time to: sell a few in a week, recieve the money, and wythdraw it. Then when paypal tryes to help you, you get refunded only whats left in his account (in my case 1,12$ on a purchase of 35$). So i only buy from HK or China when the price is under 10$ and the seller has a minimum of 200 or 300 feedbacks 100% or 99,9% positive. Basically i only buy covers invisible shields ect from those countries because all other things are not worth the trouble (here customs are stopping most things from china and HK, and plus, most memory stics and similar are not of the capacity the seller declares).
Guest Borkata Posted May 4, 2010 Report Posted May 4, 2010 People be realistic! The prize for 16 GB class 2 is 50$. How can 32GB cost 30?
Guest mogabola Posted May 4, 2010 Report Posted May 4, 2010 People be realistic! The prize for 16 GB class 2 is 50$. How can 32GB cost 30? Completely agree!
Guest fenrer Posted May 5, 2010 Report Posted May 5, 2010 Completely agree! This is absolutely a fake, I have fallen victim to similar stuff, that as a 32gb usb stick for 20 bucks, was a fake, they usually arrive with messed up firmware to trick your computer into detecting 32gb. then you need to write more then the real size for errors to start happening. When this happens the files take forever to load onto them and it takes about a day to get a 32gb flash tested (write to every bit and check). And most ppl don't fill these up immediately so they give a good feedback and that's it. As for paypal, they do cover you, but you need to send the item back with a tracking number. microsd would be a cheap affair but a usb stick would cost too much and since the seller is dodgey anyways I didn't bother. The flash memory scams on ebay are soo rampant it's worth saying that if it looks too good to be true then it probably is. There is an interesting article somewhere out there which breaks down the cost of flash memory (its about a year old now) and back then I believe the wholesale price for 32gb flash for a usb stick was well over 50usd, and no body sells at a loss.

Paypal = safe purchase? It says the location is China. China is a world capital of fake products at the moment. Too many crooks and cheaters there. I wouldn't touch this.
Guest Umka Posted May 5, 2010 Report Posted May 5, 2010 Well, I once got 16gb for 20$ some time ago. It was really good price. But the SD was corrupted. i could not copy more then 4Gbs to it, and files went corrupted from time to time... maybe worth risking.... the only way i can imagine that those guys can sell 32gbs card for that price - is that they have stolen a big stock somewhere and need to get rid of it as soon as they can...
Guest jdouce Posted May 9, 2010 Report Posted May 9, 2010 I wont trust them for all the response listed above Plus their deliting there old item pages, yes you can get good deals from the far east but that's got scam written all over it. Only my 2 sense tho,
Guest HustlinDaily Posted May 15, 2010 Report Posted May 15, 2010 Sorry for bumping this up. I was looking into purchasing one and found this: As of March 22nd of this year, Sandisk became the first to ever ship a 32GB microsdhc card and it is a class 2- http://www.sandisk.com/about-sandisk/press...-microsdhc-card This card costs $200.
Guest Borkata Posted May 15, 2010 Report Posted May 15, 2010 I wouldn't give so much money for a card which is class 2. It is too slow to use. Minimum class 4, preferable 6 and 16GB class 6 are 65$ or something :)
Guest crawler9 Posted May 17, 2010 Report Posted May 17, 2010 (edited) People be realistic! The prize for 16 GB class 2 is 50$. How can 32GB cost 30? Not always true. I bought a 16GB class 6 card for $30 a 5 or 6 weeks ago and it's legit (granted, formatted capacity is only 14.92GB but I've filled it all the way up and it works fine.) It's a RiData card.
