Its best on the PC!!!

 please lets not have a PC Vs Console debate.

I've got Splinter Cell on my X-box and its wicked.

But i've got a crap gfx card in my PC so the PC version would be no good fo me

Have to say I agree - an easier controler layout + an exclusive level to PS2!! Mind you, those big hunk o' junk machines (xbox) can download bout 8 of em' thru "live". Wheres PS2 broadband gone.......is it here already ???

Personally I prefer my PC.

Not only can I fiddle about with code to try and get a PC emulator on the SPV (Don't hold your breath, the best I've done so far is get DOS commands working ;) ) but I can browse the web, watch movies (DivX'ed over 200 so far  ) listen to radio/MP3's and play games.

Plus I think 1024 x 768 on a monitor with a fully adjustable key setup whips a PS2 with a max res of 320x400 and pre-configured controls. And besides, if you wanted, you can easily get a PS2-like keypad for the PC.

Add the 'extra' features a PC has (unlimited saves, cracks and trainers, levels made by modders, etc.) and suddenly you wonder why people who spent £XXX on their console didn't spend it on upgrading their PC. :?

But then, a console is easier to setup than a PC...

april in japan, god knows when it will arrive here, then again, i have my pc for online gaming.

there was an interesting program on tv the other night about this and they where asking the reasons why sont and nintendo didnt take online gaming as serious as microsoft with the xbox and they basically dont think the market is big enough, i get their point to a certain degree, pc's are better suited to online gaming than consoles, part of that being the types of game available. Microsoft seem to be pushing sports games for online gaming, but i see sports games as more fun playing against people in the same room, more like an 'after pub' experience. I know Tiger Woods is great fun when drunk

Unreal is wicked thro "Live" on da X-Box, to be honest my main PC kicks an X-box/PS2 ass on spec front but i don't use it for games - and i brought the X-box for Halo ;)

Max Payne is better on the X-Box than PC  (it's the only game i have on both formats!)

My m8's who all run low-spec machines say CM4 runs really sloooowly this time around. I'm having to get a new system just to play simcity 4.....it really eats the system up !!
