Someone to help me test...

Hi all,

Is there someone who can help me out here testing a theme i'm currently making ?

All been changed from scratch, but i need people to help me out improve it, and share opinions!

I'm currently running the theme on my own liquid and has been tested on :

Firmware - 1.6

Kernel - 2.6.29

Build - Acer_Liquid_2.000.16_EMEA_GEN1

So if there is someone using recovery and willing to push/pull files from the phone and test it out, i would appreciate it!

If you are using Weather Widgets + Flip clock, i can also provide you with the theme shown on the screenshots, i didn't mail the developer yet to release it.

I have added some screenshots below.

If there are people willing to test it on a different rom that would be great, so i can expand the compatibility list.

For now i'm only using the 1.6 firmware, i have seen the 2.1 firmware has a different layout.

PM me if you are interested to help me out, i would like to release it working properly without issues.

If I can give you some hints: I would change icons of system apps, I think default Donut are not very beautiful...

Yea i was thinking the same to pull the whole dir out and change all standard icons, results in some extra work but would improve it even more indeed :P

I'll add it on the to-do list, i need to fine-tune some other stuff too, need to figure out where to find the HEX for the status-bar text color regarding files that are currently being downloaded via market.

Since its still black it is totally unreadable, same for the provider/carrier font color.

You need to have exactly same software number as theme developer.

Why don't you port it to 2.1, the bin 0.10 as many are using this, plus its the basis of the acer official 2.1 upgrade..many would love the theme.. :P

Totally forgot to answer your question, im only using photoshop for the graphics, HxD for hex editting and the android SDK tools

Font colors, i replied on your topic asking how to change the text on your black bar ! :P

Not sure, guess 2.1 has it, i thought there was a nice app on the market making it available to use up to 7 screens.

There is Donut 5 screen launcher, provided in Acer official ROM, don't remember number, but one of last Asian ROM's

If i/someone can extract the files needed for this i can pack them into my launcher.apk file and try it out, if it works i will add the 5 homescreens to the theme as an option :P

I tried to search around using google but i didnt find anything specific i needed to change it.

Maybe someone can provide it for me ? :D

I managed to get the 2.1 launcher work with 1.6, with the extended mod and landscape.

Up to 10 homescreens, and 5 icons in a row with the app drawer.

I only need to replace the drawables now.

Yea i will, im testing it out now since it's focussing on screen 2/5 instead of screen 3/5 (middle)

Also need to see if i can add the -240dpi folders and if it will work :P

Fixed.

Now trying to update other files

Currently changed to a modded 1.6 that worked on this rom, the other one had a random FC
