Requirments:

Download my ROM Sign.zip

Install JRE

Extract ROM Sign.zip to a location you like (doesnt matter)

Edit your rom and zip it, then place it in the "Sign" folder (this folder contains testsign.jar and sign.sh)

Rename ROM "tosign.zip"

Open a terminal window to the Sign folder and type

"./sign.sh"

signed.zip appears in the folder his is ur signed rom

i needed to do this as i modified a rom and got stopped at verifying

thought it might be usefull

Rom_Sign.zip

"Signing" is not HTC signing.

IMO Autosign from XDA is better, no need for linux, no need to rename.

Only requires JRE installed.

"Signing" is not HTC signing. :D

lol? what's the difference? If it's "signing" but not htc's signing, then it's not "signing" at all! (what is it really signing if not HTC?). Really confused

There is a huge difference. For example: by default, if you want to flash an update.zip, it will be impossible in Desire's standard recovery, cause stock recovery only accepts files signed with HTC's certificate. Since we won't ever have HTC's keys, we need custom recovery image which allows us to flash files signed with non-HTC keys.
