I'd avoid that site not only because of it's customer service but because of it's false advertising. Get your unlock code from here cheaper http://htcunlock.com/HTC/desire/unlock_code/ ( £20 ).

It would be nice if it was free though :D

i have retracted my statement since it was a error. the first email did not get throught to me. but the second one did after i made a paypal dispute they replied in less than 2hrs and even sent me a personal message via modaco excellent service apart from the technical error.

i do reccomend HTCSIMUNLOCK.com

it does say it can take up to 12 hours on the purchase page, but they were pretty quick to reply when i was asking questions before buying

Any actual free solutions? Student loan company are messing up my payments so can't go shelling out cash right now!

Your carrier is the only free solution... but they will most likely refuse to give you the code unless you're very convincing and/or there are laws in your country. (e.g. France after 6 months of contract: free)
