Acer tools 3.7 (hosted previously) launch some exception at the beginning of the flash... (and "Input string was not in a correct format" messagebox when i launch the apps)

Have you tried using acer tool 3.1 used in the tutorial?

I don't try it with 3.1. Some users had problem to install this rom using Acer Tools 3.1 ...

Acer Tools 3.7 is a RTM revision, or just a testing version of Acer Tools?

Have you installed this rom with acer 3.1?

both 3.1 and 3.7 did not work for me...

in 3.1 it stops here...

for 3.7 it give's me the same exception as previously described by Ethern1ty.

UPDATE: when it freezes on AMSS, and tell you not to remove USB cable, I have take it out, and push it back(usb cable) and the 3.1 continued to flash as normal as as it should.

thanks :P

Trying it, speed is sometime awesome and sometime laggy:

-App drawer is different...You see more stuff on the screen (can't explain it)

-You can disable the soft keys vibration! Go to Settings, sound and display, and disable haptic feedback!

-Nexus Live Wallpapers works out of the box :P

-Some english sub menus translated (to french at least)

-New Icons for some acer apps.

-Dialer faster + Phone number displayed directly on contacts.

Will test further. Seems cool :D .

EDIT: WOW, 100 MB of free RAM after killing useless apps with Autokiller and Launcher2. More, Asphalt 5 runs correctly and Raging Thunder 2 is darn smooth! 3D speed is awesome :P .

Can anyone confirm if compass is working correctly with this rom?

It's complicated. I got these "compass" problems with 0.0.10, when I was using Navigationsoftware like Navigon and even then just sometimes. It's not easy to reproduce it.

Also had some problems to flash this bin, but on the third flash it went good and everything runs. This with the 3.1 flash tool.

Thanks Liquid_user for this Leak!

My first feed back:

Some apps not visible before in French market on Bouyguestelecom are now available.

Great improvement in speed,

No feedback yet on stability or battery consomption, too early :-)

Nexus wall paper work perfectly with no modification.

First issue: Google galery picture are presenting very poor quality but it is fast.(I don't have this issue in Acer galery)
