3D Gallery sync and UK gmail.com addresses

You may have noticed this morning if you're an unfortunate @google.com UK owner you can now change your primary account to be @gmail.com

It took a couple of goes to make it work but it's painless. Your Android phone gets very upset though. Within a few minutes I was getting Permission Denied, Retry errors. The only way around it is to factory reset the handset and set it up as @gmail.com

The massive bonus here though is Picasa sync now works from within 3D Gallery! Woop woo
