Bad reception after case and touchscreen replacement

Hello everyone,

so a few days ago I changed the case and the touch panel. This is not the first time I was fixing the phone since I managed to break the LCD display before.

So on to my problem. Every since I replaced the case and the panel i get next to no reception. 3G and HSDPA are a dream, even the edge can barely hold it's connection. When I call or receive a call I can hear the person just fine, but they hear me skipping and I do get dropped calls. Before I tinkered with it I had full bars and HSDPA.

What the hell could I have done/forgotten or whatever to have such a drastic change in reception?!

Wifi, BT, GPS all work fine.

Hope anyone can give me a clue.

This has been covered, when you replaced the case did you put all the metal and stickers from the original back on to the old one?

one of the metal bars is an antenna that connects to the board, rather you put it in and it's not touching or you left it in the old case. either way you have to open it and put the metal in correctly.
