Guest linuxluver Posted May 8, 2010 Report Posted May 8, 2010 (edited) If you're sick of file sharing sites, try these Magnet Links (torrents). I'm seeding them from my torrent server at my home. I have about 100KB/sec upward bandwidth. It won't be super fast, but you WILL get the whole file. Acer LiquidE 014f -> magnet:?xt=urn:btih:s5mlhmfsomkeeplcbtsizb7relbxtlhx Malez Recovery 0.5.3 -> magnet:?xt=urn:btih:4fyfd4ctj75ydprv6v3zjwlm4fxp4j5u LCR v1.5 -> magnet:?xt=urn:btih:xvx6oklfadt5o42uopgikvpbe6fs3kj5 Pasting these links into your Magnet/DHT capable bittorrent client should see you able to download these files without having to download a torrent. My server is the defacto tracker. Let me know via twitter (@linuxluver) if you have any problems. I have not uploaded any torrents to any trackers. These links should be all you need. Guest malez Posted May 8, 2010 Report Posted May 8, 2010 Thank you linuxluver but Please, always download files from the original LCR and recovery web pages. This will permit you to always have the latest updated files and me to be infomed of the product usage. Guest linuxluver Posted May 9, 2010 Report Posted May 9, 2010 (edited) Hi Malez If MegaCrap and NOT-Speedy actually worked, I wouldn't feel the need to provide alternatives that actually allow people to download these files. Perhaps if you (or someone) hosted a torrent and others, like me, could help with seeding? Yesterday I had 5 separate download attempts all fail approximately 75% of the way through the download for various reasons: "download limit exceeded" says MegaCrap, "Limit of 10 downloads exceeded" says Rapid-No-Share......and so on. That isn't acceptable. I don't have time to waste on that scale. The Internet (and the people on it) routes around such failures. Otherwise, thanks for your great work! :-) Thank you linuxluver but Please, always download files from the original LCR and recovery web pages. This will permit you to always have the latest updated files and me to be infomed of the product usage. Bin file http://code.google.com/p/acer-liquid-commu...uidCommunityROM Mega-whatever and NOT-speedy are useless. Guest Idalvar Posted May 9, 2010 Report Posted May 9, 2010 It's a good idea for the bin but for LCR and malez_recovery I personally get them at 1.5MB/s on google code pages so no problem there . And again , it's a good initiative for the bin files .
