where to find ringtones?

i'm using new bin for few month now, and all is just great, but i'm little surprised by ringtone inside rom :-(

is there any possibility to find and put old fashion ringtone from android 1.6?

is there a way to insert new ringtone (not from mp3, but as system ringtone?
