Guest chopperthedog Posted May 8, 2010 Report Posted May 8, 2010 (edited) Looking to see if anyone figured out how to wake up Omnia i910 with just "center" button only? Not call and end buttons. I would like to reduce the surface area of accidental wake up's. Poked around in registry but nothing stuck out. And wording it 20 different ways in search got nothing. Any direction or hell no's that can't be done is appreciated. thanks good day. Edited May 8, 2010 by chopperthedog

I dont know how to do this, but there are a few other options: 1) Go to Settings> Personal> Buttons> tab over to "When device is turned off, wake up device by pressing:" Power button only (almost imposible to press this accidently - its the tiny button on the top of your phone lol) 2) Is your device set to "When device is woken up, lock device" (its in the same settings as above at the bottom) Also, in Settings> System> Power> Battery Power you could set it to turn off device if not used for 1 min (in case you hit a button accidently it wont waste your battery) I know that you are probably aware of this, but sometimes things slip through the cracks :P
Guest chopperthedog Posted May 10, 2010 Report Posted May 10, 2010 Yeah that's where Microsoft was wrong, option states "Front Button" when in actuality it is "Front Buttons". During the week while working I usually change to just power button to avoid the accidental pocket wake up since screen taps will keep it awake. good day.
