in the past - when i presses the canera button to take a picture )while camera is working) - the device did autofocus for a second, and toomk a sharp picture.

now - suddenly, when taking a pictire, the screen goes dark for a second, and the picture is out of focus.

what is wrong??

You could check the camera settings first? :D

But I think it's a customized ROM and it's just a bug? :P

It's not a bug. You changed the up/down control on the settings. The delay bar setting should be all the way to the left while the repeat rate should be all the way to the right.

i cannot find these settings - where are they (delay and repeat)?

found them - changed as advised - nothing:

when taking a picture - the screen goes black - and picture taken is out of focus.....

I don't know. Wipe the lens to make sure it's clean. If that doesn't work, reset your phone to factory default. If that doesn't work, take it to the service center.

I think I've got the same problem as rosagi

I can focus manually by half-pressing the shutter button & indeed, the camera focuses fine - but as soon as I really do take a picture, the camera "looses" this focus & takes rather blurry pictures (not always, but often enough to be rather annoying).

In addition, the camera screen goes black for a short moment when taking a picture (while before you could see it focus iirc, same as when manually focussing).

correct me, if I'm wrong, but isn't this completely off-topic? you are talking about repeat & delay-settings for the volume/up-down buttons? how should that influence focus? (no, we are not talking about zooming which - you are right - would be accomplished by those buttons)

WM 6.5 build 21895

daskalos megalite 6.5.5, build 23549 here - however, lately I've been using the camera from 23566 (iirc) - that might be the reason. Should probably revert to the older camera cab & see if that helps.

is this for you (roisagi) a new phenomenon (having flashed/installed anything lately?), or was it always like this?

It actually take away the half-press AF. The subject says "no AF". Relax alright? Maybe some other guy have AF problem and might find this useful.

sorry, I didn't mean to come over as rude - I appreciate you trying to help :)

I was just unaware, that the half-press AF (camerabutton) could be influenced by the vol-button settings, so I thought you had posted in a wrong topic by mistake.

sorry again - no hard feelings!
