Guest colintivendale Posted February 4, 2003 Report Posted February 4, 2003 Sorry for the idiot question. Finally got a home pc. Synched smartphone and managed to copy contacts to Outlook. Wow! All I really wanna do is transfer some tunes (maybe 30 mins of songs) to my phone and listen to them on the way to work. I only have the SPV accessories out of the box (ie normal storage card). Please someone tell me EXACTLY how to do it. I wanna get the best out of my phone but not technically minded so things like a "hard reset" maybe beyond me at the moment Thanks in advance. PS I am in Switzerland and got some new updates like Emblaze player and some ringtones.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted February 4, 2003 Report Posted February 4, 2003 Here's a nice link to get you started. Try mp3 or wma in the search option but remember to search only in customisation or you will get hundreds of links. http://www.modaco.com/viewtopic...hlight=mpg3+wma have fun PS emblaze is for mpg4 video format which there is not much about at the moment. It's the new format that the powers to be, would like us to all go and use and then forget the old versions ;)
Guest Bazz Posted February 4, 2003 Report Posted February 4, 2003 Here's another link: http://www.modaco.com/viewtopic.php?t=1316 Basically the procedure is: Copy music from a CD to MP3/WMA on your computer Copy MP3 from your computer to Mobile DeviceSmartphoneStorage Card Play that funky music! Send me a personal message if you still don't get it and I'll run you through it.
Guest yatpeak Posted February 5, 2003 Report Posted February 5, 2003 If you want to get it from a CD, you might have to copy it through WMP, I had to. Wyatt
