Guest pytan77 Posted May 10, 2010 Report Posted May 10, 2010 (edited) Hello, everyone! I'm looking for the latest Singapore CSC (XSO) file for the Omnia Pro B7610. I'm running Windows 7 64-bit, and I've been having connectivity & compatibility issues with the Samsung Firmware Downloader so that's a no-go for me. In addition, I've tried searching the forum and Googling for the required CSC file, but no luck. I messed up my CSC file as I'm a newbie to flashing my phone. I upgraded to the official JC2 ROM which had a Swedish keyboard as default. The result was that my keyboard mapping went haywire. I rummaged around and managed to find a stock Singapore CSC, but it's an old IK1 version. For your info, below is my current device version: PDA: B7610NXXJC2 CSC: B7610NXSOIK1 (I believe that my original stock CSC was IK3 or 4 or something) Phone: B7610NXXJC1 Would anyone be kind enough to send me a link to download that latest CSC file for Singapore, I believe the code should be XSO. Thanks very much! Edited May 10, 2010 by pytan77

Guest yamajiang Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 bro, Samsung Firmware Downloader can only get k1 CSC for Singapore. According to Samsung Customer service, the latest is k3. but they don't provide file for self flashing.
Guest pytan77 Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 Hi, yamajiang! Thanks for your reply! I haven't been able to use the firmware downloader, it keeps getting an error and recently says that it's been locked out by the administrator. Really sad that they don't provide the K3 version for self flashing. Too much of a hassle to bring the phone down to the service centre. I guess I'll just have to wait and see if anyone has the K3 file. Thanks, again! :) -PY bro, Samsung Firmware Downloader can only get k1 CSC for Singapore. Guest pytan77 Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 Well, I tried flashing my phone for the first time last week with the official JC2 ROM. The CSC included has the XEE (Sweden) country code. After that my keyboard got messed up. That's why I reverted back to an XSOIK1 (Singapore) CSC file. I don't mind trying another CSC file, as long as all the keyboard keys work as they should... :) Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions! Regards, PY why do you want to use k3? i tried many different csc, didnt find major differences.
