Guest Roman Kapl
That's true, when i fastboot the image, it brings me to recovery, I just thought it's some on-screw-up-run-recovery built-in behaviour. By the way, couldn't it be possible to run android entirely from sd card? If the drivers are compiled in the kernel, it could mount the SD card as root partition, in similar way as we do it with app2sd (and the space problem would be solved)
Guest JimJam707
Me and Dodge-167 are in the chat room. But we think we're in the wrong place. And that's very admirable of you Paul to but Bobo a new phone.
Guest PacX
What the .... ? Are you sure? I just unpacked the original boot.img and .... oh wait .... Damn IT! Am I really THAT stupid? If the recovery image has the same size the boot image has... Oh no, I can't believe it :P I feel so embarassed right now ... mistakes happen... you did a great job! Guest davbren
From what I gather, android won't boot unless it has the boot.img which is pretty logical if you think about it. BoBo has done a fantastic job, he shouldn't worry about a lil mistake like this.
