It installed without a hitch on my i910. EDIT: OOPS. Spoke too soon. It installed ok, and runs - but when I start maps, it runs for about 10 seconds, then gives a message that my phone has been identified as not supported, and shuts down. Rats. Yeah, the same thing happened to me, i thought it was a glitch so i installed it again yesterday. I was then able to actually do a navigation route request this morning while in bed. (kinda shocked it locked onto satellites indoors given the Omnia's crap GPS) However, the Bing app decided to conveniently start displaying the "not supported" message right when I needed it to get me to work at a different location. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling in the car while parked but no go, ended up having to use mapquest. I wonder why it's "not supported?" Engadget says that it's occurring to other Verizon Win Mo handsets too. I can't help but think that Verizon is behind this, perhaps to lure people into their Android phones, or to use VZ Nav instead. This wouldn't be the first time they crippled people's devices... :) ;) :D Edited May 13, 2010 by rickhamilton620

Guest ilyukha Posted May 15, 2010 Report Posted May 15, 2010 i tried to reinstall bing, but its not creating a file path. it doesnt get very far in the installation. Where did you get the file? You can try this one. Bing.CAB However if you are using Omnia on Verizon you will not be able to use navigation. It will reroute you to Verizon Navigator page.

Guest .hack_infection Posted May 15, 2010 Report Posted May 15, 2010 This was posted on the i910 forums by rpmm70 yeah, i tried that, but its not creating a file path. without the file path, i cant do the fix.
Guest ilyukha Posted May 15, 2010 Report Posted May 15, 2010 I just did the fix and I have no problem using Bing Navigation I guess it can not determine that you are on Verizon now. Initially it was supposed to be that way. I read on bing forum that Verizon custoers could not use bing, because it would refer tham to Verizon Navigator. I am glad it works.

Like stock cf03? I know it wouldn't let me install it on the stock dc22 rom. I updated on win7 x64, you just need to find the dc22.img and do it through umdl. Dc22 image: i910 dc22 img

Guest WhtCastle Posted May 16, 2010 Report Posted May 16, 2010 I'm on DC22 and changing from true to false appears to have fixed the issue. Works great now.
Guest vslon90 Posted May 17, 2010 Report Posted May 17, 2010 it hangs up during navigation. any ideas?
Guest sid0101 Posted May 18, 2010 Report Posted May 18, 2010 (edited) I've uploaded my working bing.config file. Without an edited Bing.cofig file you will get hang-ups and random exiting. Just replace your current bing.config file with this one.Bing.config.zip Edited May 18, 2010 by sid0101

What gives? You could try flashing to one of the roms in the i910 forums. Bing wouldn't install until I did that.
