About A2SD - flash another Rom and wut about the apps?

Hi Everyone! Im coming to ask a question again~ lol

I flashed eVil's rom with a2sd, and I installed some softwares and some games -- so I guess they are in my sd card now.

and I see the r2 releasing and I want to try to flash r2 to check if r2 is better.

However, wut about the apps inside my sd card? Do I need to wipe everything?

I use MyBackupPro, so could I backup the softwares and restore them back after I flashed r2?

or I need to wipe all the apps and then reinstall them?

from my experience with flashing the hero roms: you shouldn't wipe the ext3 partition

if you flash another a2sd rom every app you have installed is still "installed" after flashing.
