Guest awarner [MVP] Posted April 3, 2003 Report Posted April 3, 2003 My phone died a horrible death last night ;) the action button decided to stay on permenantly so I could not access certain apps etc. I could not even do a hard reset so it was a serious hardware fault   Phoned up Orange this morning at 9:45 spoke to customer services and the arranged without question for a replacement to be delivered. the replacement arrived at 8pm this evening  now hows that for service? for me on this occasion I would like to say thank you to Orange
Guest Firaas Posted April 4, 2003 Report Posted April 4, 2003 On the topic of replacements, receiving my FIFTH replacement tomorrow. GPRS totally stopped working after the problems, and tech support were baffled, so they're now blaming the handset...
Guest yatpeak Posted April 4, 2003 Report Posted April 4, 2003 Fifth! I can't believe you can have four buggy phones in a row! Didn't someone say once that you could only claim a miaximum of five? Thanks, Wyatt
Guest Vector Posted April 4, 2003 Report Posted April 4, 2003 I've had the same SPV since November, and have had no problems at all
Guest yatpeak Posted April 4, 2003 Report Posted April 4, 2003 Mine'd better not go buggy on me, sending it all the way back to Denmark!! That'd be torture! Wyatt
Guest abamara Posted April 4, 2003 Report Posted April 4, 2003 Awarner, O probably know you as a modaco Mod. Good for business, you see. Your reputation obviously preceeded you!

Thanks, Wyatt Yeah, one was an insurance replacement. I've not been told about the five-rule by Orange so far, so let's just see how it goes. They don't come buggy, they "turn"!
Guest WouterN Posted April 12, 2003 Report Posted April 12, 2003 I am going back to the shop tomorrow (yeah it's open on sunday here in Amsterdam) to get a new one. My button is also doing some strange stuff (going up instead of an enter, etc.). Did you guys return your unlocked phones? Didn't they check for unlocking? Wouter.
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted April 13, 2003 Report Posted April 13, 2003 The majority of shop assistants probably won;t know what de-certification is. If you're worried just hard reset it before you do. (Althoguh looking at the time it may be too late heh...)
Guest WouterN Posted April 13, 2003 Report Posted April 13, 2003 I just picked up a new one at the store  ;) This one is working great ( i already unlocked all the stuff ofcourse :()
