Titanium Backup + A2SD

Hi,

Very pleased that we have 2.1 to try, was just wondering how Titanium Backup worked with A2SD - (as well as saving other settings) TB backs up apps from the phone memory to SD card - yes the apps are already on the card, so would it backup no apps from the phone, and then during restoration, would move all the apps from the card onto the phone memory?

It will copy them from one partition on the SD card to another on backup, and then back again on restore.

apps2SD uses the ext partition, and the titanium backup uses the fat32 partition.

Thanks mate, so it seems pretty good to use - would it be better overall to use TB over a Nandroid restore then?

No, well both really, Nandrod is best as it will restore the whole ROM state so if things go really bad you can just restore everything in one go.

TB will back up just app data and apps.

What I do is occasionally do a nandroid back up, so I have a known good position to go to, and regularly use TB, so I won't miss anything new I've installed, SMS, etc...
