I have prepared a superboot using the boot.img from final LiquidE ROM, kindly provided by LIQUID_USER (THANK YOU MAN!).

Superboot --> 1.100.05_superboot.img

Original boot --> 1.100.05_boot.img

Edit: Superboot is fixed.

What is different in mine is that it's using Superuser 2.0.3 application with nice interface.

I haven't applied lowmemorykiller patch like vache, because I like it stock way and if I want to make changes to mem values I always can install AutoKiller which has profiles for this :)

Finally I want to thank vache for his support in hinting me what I have missed in boot rebuild that made the crash first time. Thanks!

This happens when you don't test before release. If I was an admin of this forum, you'll have won a ban today. The official one... :-p

Guys, i've just flashed boot.img from latest LCR ROM (1.5 that was built for 014 bin) to 1.005.05... And it works perfectly. Don't test App2SD, but remount works OK.

:).

If this was the Acer support forum then yes. But remember, people who come here want to mod their phones & it is their own fault if something goes wrong.

da900 you are right superboot for 014 will maybe work for this one too as I see only a couple of differences in init scripts and I don't think they are important. What I want is to preserve the original kernel which is from the final :)

Btw @malez is there difference in mkbootimg tool for 1.6 and 2.1?

@Borkata

So, as i understand, there can be any problems if i leave this boot from LCR?

Changes to kernel are rare, but there might be some fixes in the last one :)

Kernel from 0.014 should be good enough I think.

P.S. Just wish we had already source for 2.1 so we can make mods like audio boost, wifi tether and so on... ;)

I wish it too... and CPU overlocking...

Ok guys there is something wrong with this boot.img. I think it contain third part except kernel and ramdisk, but have to investigate a little bit.

What I can confirm is that 0.014 superboot is working like a charm with 1.100.05 rom or if you prefer you can use malezRecovery mode 2 (I think then you wont be able to make adb remount and won't have app2sd).
