Proximity Sensor

Hallo,

for install Thai Fonts i rooted my device (a German o2 Desire) and pushed the font files to the /systems/fonts folder. Due to the excellent guide given here this could be done without any problems. Thanks to Paul for this amazing work and to all other experts for their comments. Now it is possible to read webseits in Thai language as well as typing in Thai using i.e. CN Keybord. ;)

But after a while i noticed that the screen is locked immediately after i pick up a call and it is almost impossible to unlock it again. Only if I expose the phone to a very bright light (1cm away from a bulb) it can be unlocked. Thus its not possible to hang up. :)

Sensor List (downloaded from the market) shows, that the satus of the proximity sensor is always "near", only close to the light it is changing the status.

Unfortunately the phone was never used before rooting and i do not know if its worked before.

Does anybody knows if it is possible to adjust the sensor or has any solution for this issue?

I got exactly the same problem happened after rooting. Before that it was fine. Is it possible that something has been changed in misc, like in usb bricking case??? I tried to put normal (stock) rom there nothing helped. :o

Btw i dont know if it matters, i have silver desire.
