Guest Ras Posted April 4, 2003 Report Posted April 4, 2003 I still can't figure how to remove previously set alarms...this is annoying as an alram I set for an early trip (4:30AM) sounds every morning. Please help, I have huge bags under my eyes as a result  Ta Pete Also, why has everybody unlocked their phone, what can you do that I can't???
Guest ricmoo2003 Posted April 4, 2003 Report Posted April 4, 2003 go into settings, Date & Time and uncheck the alarm on/off button Hope that helps, it's caught me out a few times Richard
Guest spacemonkey Posted April 4, 2003 Report Posted April 4, 2003 Not quite sure what you've done, the alarm in date and time settings has an on/off box and a time. If you have put entries in outlook that are recurring each day you need to delete them from outlook. In the worst case scenario, switch your phone to silent and put it in another room.
Guest Ras Posted April 4, 2003 Report Posted April 4, 2003 Hmmmm... Tried turning Alarm On/Off...makes no difference, the old alarm still sounds. Think I'll just have to buy an alarm clock and do as Spacemonkey suggests  Ta Pete
Guest yatpeak Posted April 4, 2003 Report Posted April 4, 2003 Does anyone else have this problem? If they do, I'll make a point not to use the SPV as an alarm clock. Thanks, Wyatt
Guest ricmoo2003 Posted April 4, 2003 Report Posted April 4, 2003 Sorry, didn't see the bit at the bottom of the post, here is what we decertified people can do..... Need i say more? RichardDoom.jpg
Guest ricmoo2003 Posted April 4, 2003 Report Posted April 4, 2003 Ooops sorry didn't mean to do it twice....
Guest spacemonkey Posted April 4, 2003 Report Posted April 4, 2003 ricmoo2003. First, you can edit a post if you cock it up rather than needing to post a sorry post afterwards. Second, how does this thread relate to decerting?
Guest ricmoo2003 Posted April 4, 2003 Report Posted April 4, 2003 Also, why has everybody unlocked their phone, what can you do that I can't??? That is why it relates and i tried to edit my post, but it now seems to have removed both piccies? Sorted now, sorry for my error!
Guest spacemonkey Posted April 4, 2003 Report Posted April 4, 2003 oopss... my brain had ignored that thinking it was just a signature.
Guest MoRFLeZ Posted April 4, 2003 Report Posted April 4, 2003 I use my SPV as an alarm every morning! Blasting out 'Kyle's mom's a b****' and it works wonders! Have no problem turning it off and on either!
Guest martin Posted April 4, 2003 Report Posted April 4, 2003 This could be barking up the wrong tree here ? In the registry editor under LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Clock there a four keys called 0,1,2 & 3. On my phone : 0 contains values AlarmFlags, AlarmHandle and AlarmTime. 1,2 & 3 are empty It could have been worth checking your phone to see if there are any additional settings in here. IF YOU HAD A SOFTWARE UNLOCKED PHONE...
Guest Ras Posted April 4, 2003 Report Posted April 4, 2003 Cheers guys, think I have figured it now. I set the alarm time to 4:30 then set OFF, seems to have removed it. I was simply leaving it on the new alarm time (7:00) and turning it off!!! Think I will also have to un-lock my phone at some point, some of the stuff you can do looks pretty neat  Ta Pete
Guest MoRFLeZ Posted April 4, 2003 Report Posted April 4, 2003 You really should Ras, it's super simple un-locking it these days - doing it from the official Orange site!
