Flash Win 6.1 to 6.5

Hi All

Can someone please advise me? I have a unlocked vodafone UK ,also seems debranded. I want to upgrade my phone from win 6.1 to 6.5 . the Samsung web site I get the wrong version if I use UK or any location in Europe. In the version in the phone it says Version PDA : i900XXHJ6 PHONE : i900BUHH2 .

On the official site if I input any Asian country ie Indonesia and then the XXHJ6 it allows me to proceed to the software upgrade. Should I just do this ?

What I would really like to do is flash to one of the custom roms . Do I have to have Win win 6.5 installed to have a 6.5 custom rom or is that what is installed when I flash a custom rom ?

All you need to look FIRST How to flash your Omnia

2ND u need to choose a custom windows mobile 6.5 rom with ur favorite applications i can recommend This Thread it has many roms like premium with alot of Applications or lite or even ultra lite

I have flashed other phones but not a win mobile and I was worried about flashing from 6.1 to 6.5 .Just wanted some one to say " yes! go a head what are you waiting for ? "
