2.1 and the old cam module

hi,

anyone of you still got the first version of the pulse? the one where the cam has 8 notches around instead of 4?

have you tried if the cam works now cause my pics are awefull

before i install 2.1 i thought i bring it back to the store and they should have a look at it. would be silly to flash it just to falsh it back for the repair ...

(did not need the cam the last months so i did not care to return it but now i thought i fix that if possible before the 2.1 upgrade :) ... )

what do you mean by notches? I didn't know there's a first/second/etc version of the pulse.

Hi i have the 8 notches and the quality is the same but actually taking the picture is much faster :)

I'd say the quality is better, as it blurs less!

wow - was it always that good with your phone? or now with the 2.1

mine is always crap - espacially with close-ups

Maybe your camera autofocus isn't working properly, just like mine wasn't, but t-mobile fixed it 4 free.

Mine was a tad blurry with 1.5, and the overall image quality was nowhere near as good as it is with 2.1
