No Speech to text feature available in new leak?

Hi all,

I was waiting impatiently this release to have speech to text feature to develop my dream application...but speech to text library is not available on liquid leak 1.100.05. Every application that needs speech to text feature closes with a missing library warning dialog. Why is it not present? I thought it was present on Eclair 2.1 as default. Is there any way to install it?

search for VoiceSearch_2.1.apk and install it. it enables the search in search box and other apps such as Talk to Me

Hi, thanks for the answer. Can I find it in the market? I didn't find it but maybe market is locked on 1.100_05.

EDIT: I have found it on the web but not on the market...anyway it works! Thanks

yes but are they valid also for 2.1 roms?

EDIT: yes sorry I have seen it, it's for 2.1.

hi , what did u do for it can work, i have downloaded voice search but, it says "recognizer not present" , plz help me , im using las leak 1.100.05 with vach ROm v 0.8

I have downloaded the apk from here . Then installed. I have used the clean leak without other rom.

I'm always getting a "connection problem" error. Needless to say my connection actually works, I can surf the web, watch youtube or whatever else..

I'm on vodafone IT. Any advice?

Sometimes I have that problem as well. It happens when I use wifi but probably because there is a connection problem...I hate Vodafone...I suggest you to go to H3G also in order to use voip.
