htc sync dont detect my hero?

hi when i link my phone to my laptop with htc sync running the laptop and htc sync does not detect my phone? i am running madaco 2.2.

i click htc sync on the phone it starts to show the busy loop then nothing? nothing detected?

It's MoDaCo, not MaDaCo.

Do you mean 2.2 or 3.2? 2.2 is very old, update it if so.

Have you maybe cooked a custom ROM without the HTC Sync component?

Upgrade the Sync app. Get the latest HTC Sync from: http://www.htc.com/uk/SupportDownload.aspx...3&dl_id=933

I'd recommend just synching everything to Google rather than relying on this app as it's pretty flaky.
