I'm rooted but can't see how to remove the 'Learn More' app (link to htc website) that's in my Application list - I can't see anything obvious in the system/apps folder - any ideas?

cheers,

john.

Anyone?

Why do you want to? It's not like it's using any significant memory.

Purely cosmetic I guess.

am I right in thinking this would have to be done by entering the recovery menu and using abd?

I actually want to delete this app too.....

I thiought it might be possible as I'm using A2SD...but if I understand what the terminal emulator is telling me correctly it looks like this file wasn't transfered to the SD card?

Looks like it's still in /system/apps/ along with a lot of things hogging space and mounted read only during normal opperation... - though I must confess that while A2SD appears to be working I'm certain that not all programs are being transferred.

Indeed a lot of space on the main device has now been used. There was a point where the Gscript script said that everything was working but that nine hundred MB had been used....In astonishment I went in to copy the files off the SD card using Ubuntu as a preparatory step to enlarging the partition.......but loan behold noly 130 Mb were in use on the card.........I uninstalled a few things and the maths looks better....

However I have noticed that while I succeeded in installing quite a lot with little depreciation in space in the early days there was a point of very sudden space drop....is it possible A2SD is working for only a few programs????.

After that, you will have disabled usb mounting, unless you have an app.

Hm? I just checked but I can still pull down the notification bar and choose "use as hard drive", "just charge" etc... All normal here :)
