Guest geniusdog254 Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 (edited) Am I psycho or is something wrong with the HTC developer site? The first day they released the Incredible's kernel and a few other devices & whatnot at developer.htc.com I saw all the source they released, and now I don't see any source but the 1st gen devices! There is no Desire, no Incredible, no Legend? I can't figure it out! It's really irking me 'cause I can't find that source! All I have listed is: Sprint Hero Hero Dream Magic Tattoo Eris What's up with that?!? Edited May 14, 2010 by geniusdog254
Guest bedwa Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 When I go there I do see the Incredible, but no Desire.... we need to build a few links so that we can share the cross region info. Incredible source There's a link for the Incredible's source, if someone who sees the Desire kernel source pleas do the same? Thanks!

It is funny I see as first Download "Droid Eris by HTC (Verizon)" but if I dowenload this one the file is called: "desirec-be918f7b.tgz" Can't see Incredible or Desire. Im in Switzerland and the page is not cached so what i see is what they show me. But who cares as long as Paul got his hands on it everything is good. Aspi Edited May 14, 2010 by Aspergillus

Aspi Weird naming on that, but it is NOT the Desire source. Desire is the market name, the hardware codename is Bravo. That actually is the Droid Eris source code, although I didn't think its hardware codename was Desire? Notice how the Tattoo source is named "click_*****.zip" because Click is the codename for the Tattoo. The GSM Hero code is named "hero*****.zip" and the CDMA (Sprint) Hero is named "heroc****.zip". The "c" suffix is linked to CDMA phones, thus "desirec" for the CDMA Eris, and the "heroc" for the Sprint Hero.

So this means we'll be able to have the Nexus One Rom with full working camera, bluetooth and all ? YAY !
Guest geniusdog254 Posted May 15, 2010 Report Posted May 15, 2010 We already have camera and all, but this should give us Bluetooth if Paul can get the kernel hooks right, which there's no reason he shouldn't. It should also give us FM radio.

Guest nexvision Posted May 17, 2010 Report Posted May 17, 2010 Trackball wake? This already works you just have to apply it manually.

Guest chatonveca Posted May 24, 2010 Report Posted May 24, 2010 Sorry for my english but I'm french There are a problem on HTC website, from my job I see the kernel sources of the Droid, the Tattoo, the Hero, the Magic and the Dream. But from my home I can see the kernel sources of the Legend, the Incredible and the Desire... Is there an IP filter ? (I have tested with 3 different Internet navigator). From my job, if I use a proxy from France (I live in new caledonia) I have the same list of my home
