Guest BrickedLiquid Posted May 17, 2010 Report Posted May 17, 2010 (edited) thank you all my dear friends! i have successfully entered the recovery mode. Great thanks to males. The liquid recovery.img is so powerful!!! Here, i'd like to share my steps to recover my Liquid: (in WindowsXP) 0. Install correct Liquid driver(which will pops notifications of several liquid devices installed. And when you connect your liquid to Windows, those devices could be found in your device manager). 1. Download superboot command tools form here and recovery image from here. And unzip superboot tools a folder like "C:\Superboot\". Copy and rename downloaded recovery image to "C:\superboot\recovery.img" 2. Unplug USB cable, battery out and battery in. 3. Hold "VolumeUp + Camera + Power", the phone will vibrate twice. 4. Release the three buttons 5. Battery out 6. Plug in USB cable 7. Wait for about 5 seconds to let Liquid boot into Bootloader mode. I call it fastboot mode, since there is "fastboot" string in title line. It is black screened, with only command texts, like "USB inits") 8. Now will hear a USB connection sound, (sometimes you could see notification bubble too). Congratulations! your liquid is not dead. 9. Goto "C:\Superboot\" and execute the "install-recovery-windows.bat". You will see "send xxx.img ... OK" on your liquid screen, then the phone reboot. After you got the recovery. your liquid is back to live again: 1. Copy the latest LCR.zip to you SD card. 2. Insert SD card into liquid. 3. Boot in recovery mode: unplug USB, battery out, battery in, Hold "VolumeDown + camera + power", the phone will vibrate 3 times. Release buttons, the phone will boot into Recovery mode in about 10 seconds. 4. There is a Update zip option in the Recovery mode. Use it to flash the LCR in SD card. 5. Reboot. OK. now your liquid could start in normal mode. It maybe stop after the logo screen, but it can be recognized by the PC again. (If you have flashed "Acer_LiquidE_0.014f.01_EMEA_GEN1" before, it will be OK now) Edited May 17, 2010 by BrickedLiquid
