Applications in SD Card-ext4 Partition will remain after a ROM upgarde ?

Right now I have an SD Card with applications already installed in it using the ext4 partition and I am using Modaco r14 ROM.

Now, If I upgrade to a different ROM, let's say I upgrade to CM 5.0.6 or Modaco r22, all the applications installed in the SD Card ext4 partition will be ready and available in the newly installed ROM ?, or I have to do something with them ?, thanks

Please read the forums i think if u have Real App2SD and Dalvik Cache to SD u can switsch easily between ROM´s with the App2SD like the Desire have not!
