Hi,

I have the above combination and cannot get the sat-nav voice guidance to be heard through my Parrot Handsfree kit.

I can stream music from the Hero via the Parrot ok.

If I'm honest, I'm not sure when it stopped working....

I've deleted the pairing and re-paired it, but it doesn't make any difference.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Many thanks

Matthew

Do you get any voice guidance at all?

I had an issue with CoPilot turning on mute every time it started. I fixed it by turning off Mute, then closing and re-starting CoPilot.

I get the voice guidance, but through the Hero's speakers.

What is even stranger, is that if I turn on the option to have the hero "bleep/chirp" when you press a key (set in the Android settings), that sound comes through the Parrot, but the voice navigation doesn't!

Thanks for taking the time to reply,

Matthew

I have a similar problem with 3.2, the car stereo which has bluetooth call capability works perfectly when I initiate the call, but if a call comes in, the stereo knows this, and mutes the music, the ringing comes through the speakers on the car, but the audio for the call is left on the handset so you cannot hear it at all.

I am sure this is all related to the same issue with bluetooth generally. The stereo works perfectly with a nokia handset.

My CoPilot Live v8 does exactly what yours does, the beeps come through (like ringtones) but the voice (same with voicecalls) doesn't.

Carl.

This happens to me too, if I accept the call directly on the phone. However if I use the button on the steering wheel to accept the call it works perfectly. I'm also on MCR 3.2.

However I've not had any problems with CP8, all audio is via the phone speaker which is what I would have expected.

I'll give this a try tomorrow, but I know that on my stereo the call audio goes through the stereo

I've got a cheapo Halfords Sendai CD988BT Bluetooth stereo, which (for £99 fitted) was great value - BT, SDHC (16Gb tested), USB, CD

Highly recommended if anyone is looking - reports of 2Gb SD card limit are wrong.

OK, I found this with mine...

BT on, playing music thru A2DP:

CoPilot turn instructions - voice through phone, mutes music

CoPilot speed camera warnings - voice through phone, bing-bong sound through stereo, mutes stereo

Could it be that the file format of the audio is what determines where it comes out?

The bing-bong sound I get for speed cameras is (presumably) just a WAV or MP3 or something, whereas the voice instructions might be different?

TBH the way it works suits me fine, through the stereo would be equally as good but I'm not losing sleep

After some testing, exactly the same here....... wonder if it was the latest Co-Pilot update that did it?
